Last week, on Monday, 8th June, our School English Club went on a trip to Zakopane. At 6:20 a.m., we met at the train station and started our journey.<\/p>\n
In Zakopane, we took a bus to Dolina Ko\u015bcieliska. There, at 9:00 a.m., we met our guide and headed for our first exciting destination \u2013 Jaskinia Mro\u017ana. Because there was no light in the cave, we had to use head torches. It was great fun! The corridors were sometimes so narrow that we had to crawl and some of us even got wet and dirty!<\/p>\n
Next, a few of us explored Jaskinia Raptawicka, where we had to climb up and down a rather steep and slippery ladder. Then, when we reached our next stop \u2013 Okno Pawlikowskiego \u2013 we took hundreds of photos and selfies. \ud83d\ude09 The place itself and the view from there were breathtaking!<\/p>\n
After that, we continued our hike to the mountain shelter, Ornak. There, we stopped for lunch. We ate chips, wraps, burgers, \u017curek and the most famous dessert in Tatrza\u0144ski Park Narodowy \u2013 apple pie! After the meal, it was time for the most important part of our trip: an interview with our amazing guide. We asked her lots of questions about her job, experience, preferences, hiking tips, and, of course, bears. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
At 2:00 p.m., we left the shelter. On our way back, we explored one more place \u2013 W\u0105w\u00f3z Krak\u00f3w \u2013 and climbed into another cave, Smocza Jama. There, we used chains to help ourselves because the rocks were slippery and our torches came in handy as well.<\/p>\n
When we got to Kiry, we thanked our guide, said goodbye, and took a bus back to Zakopane. Before leaving, we also made sure to buy some oscypki. \ud83d\ude09 Finally, we caught the train to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska and arrived at the station at 7:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
It was the best mountain trip ever! English ruled all the way!<\/p>\n
